Torchwoood is a show based around Doctor who! It is a spin-off of the two final episodes of Series 2 Doctor Who with Torchwood Tower! the directors of Doctor who then decided to make a show based on Torchwood and who better to have in charge than Captain Jack!

Jack Harkness
Jack is the leader of Torchwood and he likes it that way! After his adventures with the Doctor and Rose in Doctor who Series 1 he was brought back to an enternal life after Rose turned into the Bad Wolf! After the Doctor and Rose left Jack on Satellite Five Jack teleported back to earth in the 21st century and joined Torchwood! Then when he meets The Doctor again in Series 3 he is offered to travel with them but he would rather go back to his team!
Gwen Cooper
Gwen is considered as the deputy leader!She is great with dealing with enemies! She used to be a police officer. She is a great meber of Torchwood because she is very determined and passionate!
Dr. Owen Harper
Owen's comitment to his job has never been doubted! He trained to be a medical doctor but then strated working with Torchwood and found he had abilities elsewhere! He is very confident with his abilities and soe would so too confident!
Toshiko Sato
From a small part in Doctor Who 'Aliens of London' led to bigger parts on torchwood for Tosh! She had a small scene in Aliens of London as a person examining an alien from outer space when it wakes up! Directors of Doctor who thought she would be good in Torcwood so invited her into the team! She is the team technical expert and is highly intelligent
